- Airfare is allowed to and from the location because you are doing ministry and must be able to get there and back.
- Lodging is determined by what activities are done throughout the day. As long as there is ministry being done at least once in the day, the entire day is considered reimbursable.
- Food is allowed as long as you are doing ministry. If each day has ministry being done, then food is ministry related. However, if there is a day that is all sightseeing, vacation, etc. then the food for that day would be personal.
- Souvenirs are typically 100% personal. However, if you have purchased them specifically to give to donors you must keep them within the gift policy guidelines.
- Other miscellaneous items are reviewed based on the need and how it relates to ministry/business. Toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc. are always 100% personal in nature.
